St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda

Nonprofit St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda supports people in need through person-to-person assistance.

St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda (SVdP) worked with the Taproot Foundation on brand strategy and needed a designer to implement the key element of the brand – Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

SVdP wanted to reach a broader network of donors and volunteers that included families and a younger demographic. I brought in color to add to the St. Vincent blue and photos of the client and volunteers faces to represent community. The multi squares represent connectedness and transparency. “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” became a centerpiece of the design.

The new design was implemented on all collateral from print materials to the thrift stores and donation trucks.
