Lifemaps offers comprehensive college and career counseling.
Lifemaps began with a passion for helping teens and young adults navigate the college process. I wanted my client’s passion and excitement to come through in the brand for this new company. By using bright neon colors and whimsical illustrations for the graphic design, we created a brand that appealed to both the young clients and their parents.
Logo: The logo graphic design was inspired by a maze or labyrinth to show that there are many pathways to get to a college goal. A slab font is used for the company name for it’s similar look to the maze. The rough underline supports the concept of a path to success. The irregular shapes add an artistic and energetic feeling to the design.
Website: The website uses a combination of illustration and professional photographs to relay the Lifemaps message. Illustrations were created to represent each service and were also used in the illustrated icons. The responsive site makes it easy to connect to a young audience.
